The cast aluminum end boxes have been optimized using CAD technology and CFD simulations to ensure ideal internal airflow. The original click connections have been eliminated and the connection diameter at the inlet and outlet has been increased to ?70 mm. The result is outstanding cooling properties and significantly lower back pressure than with the OEM cooler.
Improved efficiency and durability: Weighing only 7.4 kg, the intercooler is particularly light. A special anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties guarantees a lasting and effective cooling effect even under extreme conditions. The cooler has also been tested up to 6 bar and is absolutely pressure-stable.
